Q. What age children do you take?
A. Children are accepted from 2 years old. Two year old funding is available for 15 hours free entitlement subject to your personal circumstances. Please speak to Kathryn for further information.
Q. Do you offer 30 hour funding?
A. The Pre-school offers eligible parents the opportunity to take up the 30 hours free childcare provision introduced by the Government for children aged 3-4 years. Parents can check their eligibility via the Childcare Choices website at https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. If eligible for the additional 15 hours, parents will need to obtain an 'eligibility code'. For further information, please speak to our Deputy Manager who will be pleased to assist.
Q. How much do you charge per session?
A. Sessions are currently charged at £17.00 each however, children can receive funding from the term following their 3rd birthday.
Q. How can I pay for non-funded sessions?
A. Sessions are invoiced at the beginning of each month for that month's fees. You may pay by Cash, Cheque, Childcare voucher or direct bank transfer. Invoices must be paid in full by the date stated, this is generally one week before the end of the month of invoice.
Q. How many children are in each session?
A. Threemilestone Pre-School is registered with Ofsted to cater for a maximum of 24 children per session.
Q. What times are you open?
A. Our session times are 08:15-11:30am and 12:10-14:50pm
Q. How much do you charge for the lunch club?
A. We charge £3.00 for a packed lunch provided by parents.
Q. How is the Pre-School run?
A. Threemilestone Pre-School is now run by a charitable incorporated organisation which has three elected Trustees who meet regularly to ensure that the setting is operating within the Early Years Statutory Welfare requirements and Ofsted guidelines.
Q. How do I register a place for my child?
A. If you would like to register an interest for your child to attend our setting please fill in your details in the Contact section or telephone us on 01872 275349.
Q. Do you have a uniform?
A. We don’t have a compulsory uniform but we do have Pre-School embroidered Polo tops available to purchase at £10.00 each, they come in sizes aged 2, 3-4 & 5-6. If you would like to look at, try on or purchase a polo top, please ask a member of staff.
Q. How do you send home newsletters and my child’s artwork?
A. Children are supplied with a book bag free of charge in which their artwork, newsletters and any correpondence etc will be sent home
